INDUCAS 6 Reasons why misbehaviour happens in the classroom and ways to motivate students

What is, in your opinion, the main reasons why misbehaviour happens in the classroom? What do you do in order to tackle and deal with this problem?  What tips can you share with your colleagues?
From my point of view, students' background and   lack of access to equipment, materials,  and resources are 2 important reasons why misbehaviour happens in the classroom. If we teach students who  belong to poor families, who come to vocational schools without knowing how to learn and do homework, who have to commute every day, to wake up at 4.00 or 5.00 am to be at school at 8.00 am, it is really difficult to motivate them. They are bored and demotivated and traditional teaching  methods do not help at all.
Ways to motivate them:
1. Using technology while teaching can stimulate their attention
2. Establishing rules (mutual agrrement with students) at the begining of the school year is essential
3. Avoiding shouting and hitting them
4. Being open regarding the grading system you use
5. Trying to involve all the students during the lesson-if they know they have to participate in the lesson (even if it is just a word they have to say) they are interested in the topic
6. Trying to show them that what you teach them is useful in real life
